“The Long-Promised Day”: PowerPoint Slides

By: Ardis E. Parshall - December 29, 2009

If you have PowerPoint on your computer, you can use this link to download the actual slides I used in my “Long-Promised Day” lesson. The images from those slides (minus, apparently, the cool frame around each one) are below.

This page has been corrected to remove the photo of Paul Cephus Howell, whose son (but not he himself) was LDS. If you downloaded the presentation prior to the afternoon of 30 December 2009, please download again, or make that correction in your own copy.

Feel free to use or adapt this lesson should you find it helpful — if you do, I would very much welcome your remembering to return and comment about that.

  3. Ardis, I also downloaded your powerpoint and copied your lesson plan. I don’t know that I will have any immediate use for it, but it is so well done that I want to have a copy in case the opportunity comes up. Thank you!
