  1. This was after the RS had been folded into priesthood leadership, right? Why would there be a need for official letterhead?

    Sorry if these are bone headed questions.

  2. No, it was still quite a few years out, and the stake RS would have been conducting enough business to make the letterhead worthwhile: bazaars, charity events, communications with Salt Lake and local units, etc.

  3. The particular letter from which this letterhead was taken involved a special assignment from the Church having to do with local genealogy — another example of the kinds of business the RS was conducting.
