Zion’s Boys and Zion’s Girls

The Primary class for 7- and 8-year-olds, from 1928 to about 1950, was called Zion’s Boys/Zion’s Girls. The logo changed a time or two; here is what it looked like in 1940.

  3. Interesting that–out of the dozens of potential shield shapes–the CTR shield is almost an exact duplicate of this one. And I think would cover the same age group.

  4. Probably wasn’t entirely an accident, Clark — can’t guess whether somebody simply remembered the shape from her own childhood, or went looking for inspiration through old Primary files, but I can’t believe it is a simple coincidence.
