  1. Not exactly what I thought it would look like. Maybe the organ or The Tabernacle in the background, etc. May be before their hugh raise to fame, with PR, recordings and all that stuff. The name was shortened sometime in the future that is for sure. Even today it is even shorter ‘MoTab’.

  2. Yeah. Interesting that there’s no “Mormon” in this rendition of the choir’s official name. Elder Ballard would be so proud.

  3. After the Conference Center was built, some choir members started saying they were in the GSB Choir. That is, the Mormon Great-and-Spacious-Building Choir.

  4. And notice, too, that it’s no longer the “Salt Lake” Tabernacle Choir (as opposed to the “Ogden” Tabernacle Choir). There was a post on this fairly recently.
