  1. Another great selection. Thanks, Ardis.

The 20th Ward’s production of “Hansel and Gretl” looks different from the version I’m familiar with.

And the “Road to Healthville parade” looks like it would’ve been fun to watch.

  2. How do I post one of these pictures on facebook? There are people still in the North Idaho Falls stake that were there in 1944.

  3. This seems to be the scene of Hansel and Gretl. We had a record of this opera that we listened to as children. It’s been fun remembering it and listening to it on YouTube this morning.

  4. We lived in the Parley’s ward for a couple of years in the 1970s, so good to see them represented here.

Also, nice to see the Moon Lake Stake make another appearance.

  5. The picture of the North Idaho Falls stake was taken in the old Idaho Falls Tabernacle, which doubled as a regular chapel. It was torn down in the early 1970s and replaced with current Deseret Industries thrift store. Wish there was a high-resolution scan, but it looks like a newspaper clipping.

  6. Thanks O. Clark. That’s in my neighborhood and I’ve been asking around and checking out buildings. Is it your neighborhood too?

  7. Carol, it’s not currently my neighborhood, but I guess you could call it my ancestral homeland or something.
