David O. McKay at home in Huntsville, Utah:

  1. I’m old enough that Pres. McKay was the President through all my childhood and teenage years. Great picture; I remember my folks on Sunday drives would often drive us past his home in Huntsville.

  2. To any readers who haven’t yet visited the McKay homestead in Huntsville, you should really try to make a point to do so. It’s worth it. (And while you’re at it, don’t forget the Huntsville Trappist Monastery, which isn’t very far ahead and makes some great honey spreads.)

  3. How did I miss this? Great picture. Do you know the date of the photo?

  4. I don’t, sorry. My guess is late ’40s or early ’50s, based on suit style and his erect, almost youthful stride.
