“I Take Up My Pen”: Ralph V. Chamberlin, 1922

By: Ardis E. Parshall - January 09, 2014

Ralph V. Chamberlin was one of BYU’s first Ph.D’s (its second, I think), who was a victim of the unfortunate early 20th century “scandal” over organic evolution, the age of the earth, and related matters. He resigned his university position in 1911. This is his 1922 letterhead from his home in Massachusetts, where he was living in full fellowship with the Saints.

  1. It’s a lovely museum–and a fascinating one.
