  1. Nothing says “Peace on Earth” like a War Bond… I think, or maybe not, I’m not quite sure how I feel about War Bonds for my Christmas gift giving. Hmmm.

    I do have a copy of the Walt Disney animated short, that still image comes from though. If I remember correctly it has “Silent Night” playing in the soundtrack. I’ll have to dig it out and give it another viewing.

  3. I think the still is from the closing movement of “Fantasia” (1940): “Ave Maria”.

  4. Coffinberry is absolutely correct. Disney recycled that section of the movie for a Christmas Sing-along Songs video in the late 80′s where a choir sings Silent Night, instead of the “Ava Maria” soundtrack. Unfortunately that is what stuck with me after having my kids watch it a million times when they were young.
