  1. Heavy sigh. I guess I deserved that.

    But the idea that Sugarplum Land is “all around you if you live where sugarbeets are grown” is pretty hilarious.

  2. My dad’s one day working in the Garland sugar beet factory, ending with head-to-toe sticky ooze all over, was enough to talk him out of it. Sugarplum Land, ha!
