The pilot theme was used from 1952-1968. They did change names at some point — there was a period when one of the classes had a rocket pilot theme — but exactly what names were used when is a research project I still need to tackle. I used the names most familiar to me. I’ll add this to my to-do list, Left Field.

I do remember being a Right Way Pilot, CTR Pilot, and a Top Pilot back in the ’60s. Did the Co-Pilot name get changed at some point, or was my branch drifting into apostasy?
