The Smiths were staying in our home in New Zealand when she was introduced to Megazones. Dad used to send her supplies or take them to her when he came to conference from New Zealand. He also got others involved in the delivery. I knew all the individuals in the photo well. I was wondering if you could send me an electronic copy of the picture of the four delivering megazones to Sister Smith and tell me the source of the picture

Wendell Wiser was married to my cousin, Barbara Carr. Sadly, they both died of cancer.

I love this story and photo. I recognize Robert L. Simpson. He was my dad’s mission president in New Zealand and actually had a fairly close relationship with my family considering we were the family of one of his deceased missionaries.

I wonder if that chemist’s shop is still on Cannon Street.

I always keep a few lozenges in my bag for choir performances, some for me and some to pass around. If they’re mentholated, they clear out your throat for just long enough.

Thanks, Ardis. You are amazing! -turning a cold into a great story about Mormon History! I would accuse you of making lemonade out of lemons, but I know you don’t go for that sort of triteness – or maybe it will start you on a story about the first lemon to arrive in Utah.
