		<description><![CDATA[I know that my Catholic ancestors were baptizing babies in white during that period. 

I had a friend who was having her daughter blessed (ten years ago) in the same dress as her great-grandmother. I am not sure what the date of that first blessing was, but my friend said that the dress has made the rounds so that all the female descendants of that great-grandmother have been blessed in it, including twins who had their dresses changed between their blessings.
