Maybe his contemporary readers know what he’s talking about, but I have no idea.

Also, I thought it interesting that there is no regularly scheduled church service times, and that any investigators that came on Sunday the 21st got stood up. many Sundays, there’s no preaching at all, which I would have considered unusual but appears common.

Now I understand how he could be so sick one day and still keep up his journal entries. He catches up. He still inspires me to write at least a little each night even when I’m tired.
