How could someone be that keen on acquiring more land that he is so attentive to dates and details, yet not be concerned about the waste to his property? Well, if the plot demands it, logic be banned!

Too much happening in this episode to bring in Gloria’s mother and brothers. She didn’t even take time to mention pregnancies and children much beyond their births.

I’m amazed that visionary Mr. Whitman was able to gather such a fortune in the short time before his marriage to Gloria.
