Mrs. Hale was pretty sly sneaking in that comment about a &quot;spinster past sixty.&quot; Giving Serena a view of her future may change her mind.

Now my prediction, since Ardis promises us some surprises. Serena will meet a nice Mormon boy who has valley history. David will also fall for Serena and try to match her with his father. Serena&#039;s brother will die suddenly, leaving her the family estate. She&#039;ll go back home, marry the widowed bishop with 7 kids, use her essential skill of making curtains to make the home hers (and make clothes for the kids out of the old curtains) and leave everyone in Walnut Valley frustrated and lonely.]]></description>
