For instance, the emphasis on GQC, and only a passing reference to JFS. I also thought it noteworthy that even in a short three panel strip, the Gibson affair still merited a phrase or two.

The “punchbowl” referenced as the location of the dedicatory prayer now serves as the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, and is the final resting place for tens of thousands of American WWII soldiers.
