I know this was published in 1930, but viewing this through a more modern lens, she&#039;s applying racism to her own immediate family, and even to herself. She flings it everywhere. Cannon makes her appear to be noble and purely unselfish, but I have this mild impulse to smack her. And the author/editor as well.]]></description>
