You Know You’re in Sanpete …

.

Tom Kimball, director of marketing for Signature Books, snapped this picture in Utah’s Sanpete County on Sunday, December 11. It may be even better than Avard Fairbanks’s snow buffalo, no?

  1. I love it. Snow art, like food, is best when produced locally. ;-)

And for some reason that reminds me of the work of an artist in my hometown, who has crafted the entire city of San Franciscoearthquake included — in . . . Jell-O. (That gives me some protection, I hope, against charges of wandering completely off topic!)

    :-)

  2. There are enough green buildings in that earthquake to make it absolutely on topic, SLK. I linked to it in the sidebar so that more people might see it.

  3. Is that a meetinghouse in the background? I can imagine some fun-loving teacher taking the kids outside during Sunday School to take advantage of the snow . . .

  4. Isn’t Jello always on topic at this blog?

  5. Hey Tom, this is fun. I’ve decided that I would rather stay inside by the fire instead of being creative in the snow. Thank heavens that some people like to play outside in the cold, though.
