I’ve never noticed the Topical Guide- but had intended to offer help with your indexing project today, now the ‘scientifical ‘people’ have saved the day. Hurrah! Very impressed!

Wow. I never noticed that link. If it hadn’t gotten messed up, I’d have probably lived my life without knowing it was there. Now I can’t wait for it to be fixed.

Thanks. There’s still a lot of manual work to do that I don’t know how to farm out, but DE and J. Stapley did the lion’s share — DE with his webcrawler, and J. by retrieving a big chunk of the alphabetized list from the Wayback Machine.

Month in, month out, the Topical Guide shows up in my stats page as the 4th most-used page on Keepa. I wondered if perhaps that was only because spammers were mining it for the links, but from the response to this project I think there must really be a lot of you who use it. That’s kinda cool, from my perspective!

I haven’t been on the computer this weekend until now. Are you sure you don’t need any more help, because I could do something. I’m sorry that this happened to you. We all use the topical guide all the time.
