And, if allowed to finish it off, #17 is President Monson, “Dare to Stand Alone” in Priesthood Session. The words “bus” and “navy” tipped me off from two good stories. But aren’t the words “Dallas” and “San Diego” missing?

#17 is President Monson in priesthood session. Your hint helped me consider him, but the big giveaways are the large words “stand” and “alone.”

Yes, yes, yes! to both 34 and 35 — with full points to Grant for the earlier solution (although you’ll have to exchange those points for tokens, and then credits, before they will be of any use to you …)

That just leaves #17 unsolved. Hint: Who would you expect to be in the list of speakers whose talks I wordled, whose name doesn’t year appear in the solution list?

well, then I should get credit for one of my original entries (in excess of the limits of the initial rules) #16 Elder Nelson on Covenants, Sunday afternoon session. I knew that because I wasn’t taking notes at the time and he kept repeating the word “covenant” lest I would lose the theme. (well, he probably didn’t do it just for me).
