		<description><![CDATA[I suppose it&#039;s like so many other social factors -- do you teach to and speak of the ideal, or do you avoid the ideal entirely for fear of insensitivity, or do you find some  compromise that acknowledges that the ideal isn&#039;t universal? and if so, what compromise?

The commandment to honor parents and the blessing for it seem universal, even if the individual case might be difficult or impossible.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Fortunately, I have wonderful parents. But I think this could be awkward if the youth had less-than-stellar parents, or were abusive, or simply encouraged a lifestyle not in harmony with the gospel.
