I loved the Ogden 7th Ward baseball team with their hats and overalls. Then I saw the clean-up day in Preston with the women and their hats. I can’t conceive of wearing a hat to clean.

I too love the images. Even if I find no direct connection, there is always the afinity of being fellow Saints. This time I am not disappointed.

My grandmother served her mission in England (and a few other spots in Europe) in the early 1920′s. I know she was there after 1921 but I’m not sure how long. But the thought that she might have met or known these Beehives from Nuneaton, England warmed my heart this morning. Thanks.

Here’s a 1913 recording of Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep. Sounds like a song for a bass, or four basses, I suppose. Don’t miss that last low note — it could be a real show stopper!
