		<description><![CDATA[This post provided me with the excuse to do some pleasant morning reading about the Magi. They always fascinated me, I guess because they seemed so exotic (and one was named &quot;Casper!&quot;). I&#039;ve always wondered why the myrrh was so consistently portrayed in some kind of round container. I don&#039;t really have an answer for that, but I did find this representation where Casper appears to be bringing funeral potatoes:
