A Card: Autumn

By Elsie E. Barrett

You are here again, gay Autumn,
With your implements of Art,
Splashing charmingly your colors
Of each year a counterpart.
Mother Nature trusts completely,
Leaving final touch to you,
Who through ages past has painted
Tints and shades of ev’ry hue.

  1. Thanks for this! Off for a trip to New England soon, hopeful of seeing some of those charmingly splashed colors!
