Here’s a card from the September, 1929 Children’s Friend, a lick and a promise of a real post later today.

  1. Whatever you do later today cannot be as interesting to me as this one. On this day of the month and year of that old Era, my mother successfully delivered me into this wonderful world at the Holy Cross Hospital in SLC. Even more coincidental is the boy(?) in the sailor suit. I am looking at a photo of myself in a similar suit but I am a few years younger than the one in the picture. The hair was the same color but shorter.

Ardis, how do you do it?

  2. Whoot! Happy birthday, Curt! Now that is an unexpected connection, perhaps the most phenomenal of all that have appeared to date!
