As a two-color cover (the only color printing process available in Salt Lake for mass distribution in 1936), I didn’t think the cover was that bad. You youngsters are the teeniest bit spoiled!

But happy Pioneer Day nonetheless.

I'll have to say that Teichert's painting of the pioneers is better in the original colors than in this reproduction, but what a beautiful picture, and what an image of faith. Happy Pioneer Day!
