  1. What a lovely, warm Easter Sunday it is already here. From where I sit I can see daffodils, a couple of weeping cherry trees in full blossom and a magnificent magnolia. And we’re looking forward to taking a nice walk in between conference sessions once it warms up to the mid 70s. :)

And, on a more serious note, we were in Washington DC on Friday and attended part of the Good Friday services at the National Cathedral. It was grand and awe-inspiring and interesting on a number of levels and the music was beautiful, but I’m really looking forward to General Conference today and the opportunity to hear Easter music and messages about Easter and the Resurrection from apostles and the prophet. What hope this season brings of a future reunion with those we have lost to death.

    Happy Easter!

  2. For now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.

    A Happy Easter to all!
