Of course the traditional New Year's hymn in our hymnbook is "Come Let Us Anew." It is also one of my top 3 favorite songs in the hymnbook, and it upsets me greatly that people think of it only as a New Year's hymn. It's full of deep doctrine that is applicable any time of year, and only a fleeting reference to "roll 'round with the year."
