		<description><![CDATA[Wow - this wintry photo really gave me pause.  I think I tend to mentally place the pioneers in perpetual summertime, or something.  And so to see this photo of the pioneer sculpture with snow on the ground was a good reminder that it probably wasn&#039;t &quot;often singing and dancing, merry and happy&quot; for them.  Little Pioneer Children, No. 216, Children&#039;s Songbook.

(And then the juxtaposition of the temple in the background is superb, too.)
