Clark, I was sure glad the scan showed the yellow as bright as the original is. And now I have “Coooooool water” going through my head. I liked the Sons quite a bit, and wish there were still a “western” music category not swallowed up by “country-western.”
I didn’t have the information when I programmed this last night, but this painting is “Crossing the Plains” and that the artist is Cecil A. Smith.

I like this one. It reminds me of the album artwork of “Cool Water” by Sons of the Pioneers. Probably made about the same time period…
