This is good news. Historiographically, we’re so weak in the post-WW II period. She’s been working on this book for awhile now, so the sooner it’s printed, the better.

That’s exciting. I’ll be looking foreward to her work coming out. I agree, we need more “recent” LDS history. BTW: I think I know where she can get some WWII era materials.

Randy: Prince put all the material he used in the UofU library, so it is available to anyone. I agree that it is probably a treasure-mine of goodies.

Very cool. Thanks for the heads up Ardis! Any idea whether she’ll have access to all the David O. McKay materials used by Prince? I can’t help but think that Prince’s book just begins to scratch the surface of what is there.
